Happy, Happy Birthday Aidan Dear...
Aidan turned ONE today! We started out the morning by letting Aidan open up some gifts with a little help from his big brothers!
He got this cool, happening outfit from my Mom and Cheryl...so CUTE!
He got a couple of toys that hook onto his crib from my Dad and Laurie. He was having fun just walking around the house with these...we could hardly pry them away long enough for us to hook them onto his crib!
Aahhhwwww....what a cute little birthday boy!
Time to blow out the candle!
...With a "little" help from Mama, that is!
He's not sharing his cake with Daddy!
He had a lot of fun making a BIG mess, so it was straight into the tub for a quick scrub down after he was done!
We'll be having his official party on Saturday when some family is coming to town, so stay tuned for some Zoo Party Birthday Pictures coming soon!

And...HE'S OFF!
Ah, yes, the dreaded, but also well anticipated moment has come when my sweet little baby has taken his first few steps! Dreaded because, well, he's mobile and can reach more than just crawling--not to mention that he looks like such a little man instead of a baby...I have a hard time with how fast my babies grow up...I can't believe Gavin will be SIX this summer...that's just CRAZY...am I really that old? But, really, it has been very exciting for us to encourage Aidan to reach that next milestone of walking. He's such a little sweetheart.
Just look how proud he is of himself...I love that when babies just know they've done something really cool, and how happy they are about it! Being a mom is so awsome!

Connor, Connor, Connor...
The other day Connor was running around wearing this hat and it just made me laugh because it's way too big for him and especially so since he had it unrolled. I'm not sure why he had it on all day (maybe I need to turn the heat up in the house?), but he was having fun wearing it and didn't want to take it off.
Later that night, I went to check on Connor to tuck him in and found him like this! Silly boy...he looked so cute I just had to take a picture. It was really hard not to laugh and wake him up!
