Aidan is getting old enough now to attempt to jump in his jumper. Mostly he just turns in circles, but he really likes it. I think it's because he can see everything around him so much better than when he's just lying down on a blanket.

A VERY late Easter Party

Every year, the kids' great-grandparents throw an Easter Party. However, this year there were several feet of snow in their backyard when Easter came...makes it a little difficult for an Easter Egg Hunt, so it was postponed until May when the snow finally all melted. It was a little funny to have an Easter Party so late, but luckily, the Easter Bunny was willing to come and hide the eggs for us. The kids had a lot of fun running around with their Easter goodies...that is the older kids did...Aidan just couldn't resist taking a little snooze in the sunshine. It's hard to see in the picture, but he was leaking drool all over his Auntie Ruth!

Smores

The kids had fun making some smores at Grandma & Grandpa's house. It's so nice now that the weather is warming up to be able to get the kids outside to play.

A Very Happy Mother's Day

These are the moments I just love as a Mom. This morning, Gavin and Connor climbed on the bed to wish me a Happy Mother's Day...that's when Gavin presented me with the presents he made for me in preschool. Connor was looking sad realizing he didn't have a gift for me, and he left the room. He came back with his dump-truck full of toys and brought it up on the bed and said, "Mommy, I want to share my toys with you." It was so sweet. Then he dumped the toys on my lap and wished me a Happy Mother's Day. He was so sincere and so happy to see that I was pleased. It just made me feel so happy to be a mom to such wonderful, caring boys.

Field-trip to the Airport

Gavin got to go on a field-trip to the airport with his preschool class, and I was one of the Mommy helpers, so Connor got to come too. It was definitely a little boy's dream come true for Gavin to be able to sit in the driver's seat of the plane. Connor got a little scared sitting in there. He was much more comfortable admiring the plane from the outside, but they both had a lot of fun and learned some neat things about airplanes.

It's so much fun watching Aidan smile...he's becoming so social lately making "ah-goo" noises and smiling and even starting to laugh just a little bit. It just melts your heart to see it. He's so cute!

A Day at the Zoo

We finally had a nice 50 degrees outside kind of a day with no wind and the sunshine out (that's a lot to ask of Eastern Idaho in April!) so I couldn't resist taking my kids out for a nice day at the zoo. They had so much fun running around. Connor enjoyed a nice ride in the stroller just snacking away at some crackers and enjoying the view!

May Happenings

Still waiting for Spring...this is what it looked like outside on the first of May! You know what they say..."May snow brings June flowers??" Not quite, I guess. Hopefully, we'll see Spring soon if we just keep thinking warm thoughts!
