House Update

Good news...despite a few setbacks and mistakes on the house, we're still set to have the house done on the 22nd and ready for a walk-through on the 23rd. Yea! I was getting worried because they put a wall where there should be railing on the stairs, forgot about a window seat and put the wrong texture on the walls and also square corners instead of the round ones all of which had to be fixed and set the house back on its date to be finished. It's really nerve-racking to deal with given that we have to close on the house by the end of the month or we won't qualify for the $8,000 tax credit for first-time home buyers. It's been an exciting, but stressful journey so far. I'm so excited to move in and get those keys to our very first house! At the same time, there have been so many details to deal with and phone calls and paperwork that it's been a little bit difficult to just sit back and enjoy the journey. I know it'll all be okay in the end, it's just hanging in there until we get there!
