We had our ultrasound today and found out that we're having a boy! We're so excited...of course it would be fun to have a girl, but we thought it probably was a boy because that seems to be what we do best...and we love our boys. We're just excited to know what we're having so that we can start thinking of names and getting things ready for him. The best news is that the earlier complications of the pregnancy have all healed up...there is no blood clot behind the placenta anymore and the placenta itself is completely healed up. I even got the okay to exercise and treat this pregnancy as a normal pregnancy...what a relief! We're so happy. The baby looks wonderful and happy in there...kicking around and snuggling up with his arms by his face. It's so great to see the baby on the screen kicking and moving and also feel the baby kicking and moving inside of me at the same time. Today I feel like I can just take a huge sigh of relief that the baby is doing great...healthy and developing normally with no sign of future complications in sight...whew! And, now I just can't wait to hold the cute, chubby little bundle of boy in my arms this Spring!
I am excited for you. Somewhere, somehow is producing a bunch of little girls to for all these boys to marry. I wish you lived closer, all of our boys could play!
Gavin loves soccer, running around outside, riding his bike or scooter and playing with his brothers. He also likes school, and is very helpful and thoughtful. He likes reading and learing about the Gospel. He's still a bundle of energy, but we love it!
Updates on "Cheeks"
Connor is the biggest sweetheart and loves to snuggle. He's helpful to me and his brothers. He likes to play outside. He's our biggest daredevil on his bike or scooter or his grandpa's 4-wheeler...so far only one broken arm ;) He loves school and his teacher and spelling.
Updates on "Nuggles"
Aidan is FULL of energy. He loves to run around outside and play with the neighbors. He's learning his letters and sounds for preschool and knows his numbers and colors. Aidan is one of the big boys now and keeps up with his big brothers. He gives great hugs and snuggles!
Updates on "Mr. Squishy" or "Mr. O"
Owen is starting to talk. He says words like Mama, Dada, Bah (bath), No, Baby, Kisses, Hugs, Moh (more). His smile melts my heart and his eyes dance with light! I love this little boy!
Updates on "Monty"
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
"I have a burn in my heart." (I think Gavin meant to say heartburn.)
"Hey, don't tickle my nickels!" (I was tickling Gavin's armpits!)
Mommy: "That doesn't mean you can just sit down and throw a fit." Gavin: "I didn't. I just stood up and threw a fit."
Mommy: "Everything but cheese." Gavin: "Butt cheese. Eww gross."
Mommy: "Will you always be my little boy?" Connor: "Uh-huh...even when I'm 99."
"I love you and Bo the same." (Connor said this to me. Bo is our cat. Coming from a five-year-old little boy, I think it was meant as a compliment!"

This is a book about a young teenage boy who can see paths into the past. At first he only uses this gift to hunt with his father; to see the paths that the animals have taken. Later he meets up with a friend who has a different gift, and together they try to combine and teach each other their gifts and end up on a really cool adventure. The writing was great, as were the characters. I'm looking forward to reading the next book.
